The three historic brands of Sulky, Sky and Prolog brought together under the new name of SKY Agriculture.

The French owners, Burel is finalising a transformation which allows them to be more dynamic and innovative in agriculture across Europe. Their ambition is ‘to be at the side of tomorrow’s farmers’ with a large range of equipment that is innovative and tailored to the needs of European farmers.

The merging of the well known brands has been 10 years in the making, with the Burel Group restructuring internally. Julien Burel, Group Chairman explains, ‘Taking our time in order to do things in the right order is part of our DNA. We created the ‘Farming Together’ baseline to link the three brands Sulky, Prolog and Sky.’

The single brand enables SKY Agriculture to adapt to a more concentrated market throughout Europe and increase its sales outside of France, where the Burel group is based. Their dynamic development department is focused on four key areas: precision, technology, energy efficiency and agronomy to bring better performing machinery to the market.

SKY Agriculture’s machinery will be graphite grey and titanium white, matching all tractor colours, and have been rolling off the Group’s four production lines since 16th August.

Robert Pugh, Director of the RVW Pugh Group said, ‘We congratulate the Burel Group on their bold decision to merge their brands into one, creating a strong single recognisable range of machinery that is based on quality and with the farmer in mind. We look forward to stocking the new brand in our depots very soon.’
