The two-day event was geared to give Merlo UK dealer partners an insight into the significant investments being planned by Merlo group to meet future global demand for the Merlo product range.
Robert and Emma Pugh attended the Merlo UK Dealer Conference before Christmas in Italy. Held at the global headquarters in Cuneo, the dealer network were given a full tour of the Merlo onsite manufacturing & production facility, had an opportunity to drive and test a wide range of Merlo products and were shown the latest new Merlo product developments to be launched in 2023. A “highlight” being put in a man basket and rising 26m in the air in the legendary Merlo Roto enabled them to enjoy the incredible vista of the factory with the Italian Alps as a backdrop! Emma also enjoyed taking the Merlo Eworker for a spin proving it to be just as versatile as the non-electric machines whilst Robert tried the new Treemme on the o. road track, Merlo’s latest forestry solution impressed the MD! The conference concluded with the Merlo UK 2022 Awards Dinner. Held in the historic 600-year-old Castello Rosso castle. The event recognised Merlo UK’s top performing dealers across several categories.
RVW Pugh Ltd were pleased to be awarded 2 special awards, firstly to be recognised as one of 2 Merlo dealers to be awarded a long service award of 25 years and secondly the much coveted “UK Agricultural Sales Dealer of the Year” award.
