The time has come to bid farewell to our Cheshire Workshop Manager, Paul Mottram. How did we do that? By throwing a surprise party of course!
Little did Paul know there were some particularly busy bees in the Cheshire depot planning a farewell party for him to celebrate his retirement but also his 15 years of service to RVW Pugh. Paul started working for the company in 2003 at the new Cheshire depot which was originally located in Sandbach. Since, Paul moved with the company to the new premises in Holmes Chapel in 2011 where he has worked there as the Workshop Manager, supporting the Cheshire customers and staff. ‘Paul was an instrumental part of the team that helped us set up the depot in Cheshire and we wish him all the best for his retirement.’ Emma Leah, Business Mananger.

On Saturday 23rd June, Paul arrived at a party in Congleton, Cheshire not expecting it all to be for his retirement!! Family, collegues and friends all enjoyed an evening of reminiscing, dancing, speeches, presents and an impressive homemade spread. Robert Pugh made a speech thanking Paul for all his hard-work and dedication to the company as well as presenting him with a new Stihl strimmer given by staff and friends. Paul was still a little shocked towards the end of the evening, ‘I have been so surprised, probably a bit overwhelmed’.

Wishing you all the luck and happiest of retirements Paul from everyone at RVW Pugh.
