Job Description:
To assist the Business in delivering well presented new and used machinery and to ensure the Valet/wash area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Key Accountabilities:
- Cleaning used and new tractors ready for sale including paintwork, minor body repairs to include Strip and rebuild of body panels, wheels etc.
- Wash & polish tractors and machines ready for delivery
- Wash off tractors & machines ready for repair
- Assisting with all show preparations on and off site to include attending pre show set up and cleaning.
- Attend to making sure Valet bay is kept clean and tidy at all times plus making sure all products are kept fully stocked and secure.
- Parking the tractors and arranging machinery/goods in the yard – liaising with the yardman, Workshop Management and Managing Director.
- Liaise with Workshop Manager to maintain a clean fleet of demo and hire tractors at all times.
- Assisting our lorry drivers or other employees along with customers to make sure all machines are cleaned ready to go when expected.
- Responsible for general maintenance duties to assist in keeping the yard area clean
- Some collection and delivery of parts, materials, machines, personnel, to and from customers and sites etc.
- This a vary varied and diverse job therefore one that requires self motivation, self discipline and a willingness to work within and develop our existing team to the long term benefit of the business.
Key Measures:
- Completion of machinery when required
- Cleanliness of valet/wash bay area
Supervision: Supervised by Workshop Management
Conditions: Based at Churchstoke depot, however some deliveries may be required. Full driving license would be essential. At times may be required to perform duties outside of this job description in order to ensure the maintenance of a high level of service to our customers.
