Job Description:
To handle all incoming enquiries to the depot, dealing with new and used farm machinery sales enquiries, liaising with all depots and service departments. RVW Pugh Ltd is an Agricultural Machinery dealer selling AGCO products along with other franchises, a passion for Agricultural machinery and the industry is essential!
Key Accountabilities:
- Preparation of quotes for customers
- Dealing with incoming sales enquiries whether they be via phone, email, web and in depot
- Cultivating and nurturing export and trade contacts
- Identification and contact of potential customers within our core business or agriculture and ancillary industries
- Arranging demonstrations with the depot product specialists as required
- Preparations of trade in appraisals and estimated PDI budgets
- Ensuring efficient, correct and timely completion of paperwork
- Fill in weekly call sheets, outlining customer contacts made
- Credit control as instructed by the Accounts Manager
- To represent the company at shows and open evenings
- To update the used machinery database and picture library
- To liaise with the Business Manager and Marketing Communications Executive over marketing initiatives
- To liaise with manufacturer representatives to ensure best purchasing
- To liaise with finance house representatives where necessary to provide the customer with a finance quote to suit their requirements

Job Dimensions:
Staff: No direct reports
Supervision: Supervised by Sales Directors
Contacts: Dealership Management & staff, existing and prospective customers, suppliers representatives
Conditions: Based at Churchstoke depot, some show and customer visits necessary. Saturday morning cover on a rota basis. At times may be required to perform duties outside of this job description in order to ensure the maintenance of a high level of service to our customers.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday with Staurday morning cover on a rota basis.
Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
