Peter joined Pugh’s when we took on the Cheshire and North Staffordshire territory back in 2003 and has been a kingpin in our Cheshire team. Peter has always been a true gent and it has been an honour to work with him. We are immensely sad to see him go but we know he’s going to be kept busy doing all the jobs at home he’s been putting off due to working so hard!

When Peter told us he was planning to retire we knew we had a big pair of boots to fill. We are pleased to announce that Sam Fox is going to join our sales team. Many of you may know Sam as he has been our demonstrator for the Cheshire/ Shropshire/Staffordshire territory. Sam has been working for Pugh’s for 5 years now after initially joining the team in 2016 on his placement year as part of his Reaseheath College course.

Sam will be working alongside Peter for the next couple of months and taking on the sales patch East of the M6. Sam has a real passion for the Massey Ferguson brand and has great operator knowledge of our products gained from his role as demonstrator. Sam has always had a keen interest in machinery, which stems from growing up on his family farm and having worked at a local agricultural contractor as well as spending time operating a variety of agricultural equipment in New Zealand. This experience will help Sam guide you to which tractor/piece of machinery will best suit your business. Sam is very excited about the new role and is looking forward to getting out and meeting customers very soon.
