David Smith has worked for RVW Pugh over 15 years and has not stepped his foot off the gas since. With 30 years experience selling Massey Ferguson product it comes as no surprise that David takes the title of Top MF Salesman for Great Britain 2017.

David has been a promising salesman from day one, winning his first incentive trip within 6 months of starting and this year is heading to New York with other top performing salesman in the UK. We had a chat to David to learn abit more about his background and see what the future holds.
How did it all start then?
I grew up with my parents who farmed beef and sheep. At 16 I started an apprenticeship as an
engineer on Ford tractors. After gaining
expereience I was employed by Willis bros as a service engineer, progressing to service manager for Massey Ferguson machinery. After gaining experience and knowledge of the MF products I moved into sales, which is where I have been for the past 30 years. I join RVW Pugh in the year 2000.

Where do you see the future of the brand going?
With all the exciting and new models that we have, the quality and reputation of MF has grown through the years and I can only see the brand growing from strength to strength.

Congratulations on a fantastic 2017, are you geared up for the year ahead?
From the beginning of my selling career I have always had the drive and determination to be amoungst the top sales managers in the UK.
2017 has been a particularly good year where my hard work has resulted in becoming the Top Area Sales Manager for Great Britain for MF. The long established relationships I have with my
customers has helped with my sucess over the years.
I will continue to be driven in sales as I have been over the last 30 years.
